Sales 101
I feel like I have this conversation daily so I thought it would be helpful if I put this together.
Now some of these terms may mean different things to different people and I have seen them used interchangeably but this is how I have always looked at it.
Whether the terms line up with your definitions is not as important as understanding your buyers cycle.
One of these biggest ways I see companies set sales reps up to fail is by assuming they have a massive list of leads and just need someone to speak to them and tell them about their solutions.
There are so many things wrong with this way of thinking that I think starting from the basics is the only way to go.
